Information for Canadian Chiropractors

Overview

The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS) is the global body representing sports chiropractic worldwide. In Canada, FICS registration is facilitated exclusively through the RCCSS(C).

Canadian chiropractors cannot be registered with FICS unless they are Fellows, Resident or Supporting Members of the RCCSS(C).

Relationship Between RCCSS(C) and FICS

The RCCSS(C) is the recognized Canadian pathway for FICS membership.

• RCCSS(C) automatically registers eligible members with FICS

• FICS does not independently register Canadian chiropractors

• Membership status is confirmed through RCCSS(C)

FICS membership is optional, but provides international recognition and inclusion in global professional directories.

Eligible RCCSS(C) members registered with FICS may be:

• Listed in the FICS International Certification of Sports Chiropractic Directory

• Included in the FICS Members Directory

• Recognized within the international sports chiropractic community.
